About Amanda Ribas
Judo, energy and a career split between two divisions
Amanda Ribas quickly became one of the most recognizable figures in Brazilian women's MMA after reaching the UFC in 2019. Her personality outside the cage contrasts with a very physical, aggressive style once the fight starts.
Fighting style
Ribas has a strong judo and jiu-jitsu base that she uses to close distance, execute throws and look for top positions. Her striking has also evolved, although that willingness to trade has produced both some of her best performances and several losses by stoppage.
