Muay Thai brings the women's divisions the same thing it brings the men's (clinch work, knees, elbows and leg kicks) but with greater relative value. In a context where clean knockouts are less frequent, the damage built up by constant punishment weighs more on the final result.
Leg kicks are the clearest example: they do not end fights on the spot, but they compromise an opponent's mobility over fifteen minutes and limit everything she can do afterwards.
It is a minority label on the women's roster, usually tied to fighters who competed in the discipline itself before moving to MMA.
