About Josefine Lindgren Knutsson
Swedish kickboxing in a career interrupted too often
Josefine Lindgren Knutsson came to MMA after building an important career in kickboxing and Muay Thai. The Swede carried that experience into a style built on quick movement, combinations and distance control.
Fighting style
Her transition to MMA was very promising at first. She stayed unbeaten through her first years as a professional and reached the UFC after going through Road to UFC and Dana White's Contender Series.
Her UFC run
Injuries and a lack of continuity severely limited her time in the promotion. After beating Marnic Mann she lost to Piera Rodríguez in 2024, and her competitive activity stalled again. Her UFC run left the sense that her striking experience never had enough continuity to develop fully in MMA.
