About Ernesta Kareckaitė
Size and kickboxing from the Lithuanian school
Ernesta Kareckaitė reached the UFC after a long career across different combat sports. Before committing fully to MMA she was a Lithuanian kickboxing champion, a kudo competitor and a grappling champion.
Fighting style
Her height and reach are important tools at flyweight. Kareckaitė works mainly at range and uses volume to keep opponents out of their comfort zone, although her game is still evolving around that base.
Inside the UFC
After earning her contract against Carli Judice on Dana White's Contender Series, she has had very close fights in the UFC, with a decision win over Nicolle Caliari and decision losses to Dione Barbosa and Regina Tarin. Her profile is an unusual mix of size, multidisciplinary experience and development that is still incomplete.
