Alice Ardelean had been competing professionally since 2012, long before she got her UFC opportunity. Over that long career she even faced a young Zhang Weili several years before the Chinese fighter became champion.
Fighting style
The Romanian has experience in practically every phase of a fight. Although she does much of her offense on the feet, she has wins by both knockout and submission and has competed in several different divisions.

Her UFC run began with close losses, but she then managed to turn things around completely. She strung together several wins and in 2026 submitted Polyana Viana, cementing one of the best stretches of an extraordinarily long career.
