About Zarah Fairn
Size and boxing in the defunct featherweight division
Zarah Fairn reached the UFC during the brief period when the promotion was still trying to keep a women's featherweight division alive around Amanda Nunes.
Fighting style
The Frenchwoman has a boxing background and a big frame even for 145 pounds. Four of her professional wins came by knockout, and her approach was fundamentally oriented toward keeping fights standing.
Her UFC run
Her UFC run was difficult from the start. She faced Megan Anderson and Felicia Spencer back to back, two of the best featherweights available at the time, and later Josiane Nunes. The gradual disappearance of the division also left very few opportunities to build a stable career in the promotion.
